Merrick Allen

The Bashful Boyfriend

Merrick Allen is elated to be in Drunk Theatre for the first time! He graduated SUNY Fredonia in 2022 with a BFA in musical theatre and since then has been seen all over Buffalo. You may have seen him at the Lancaster Opera House in Man of La Mancha (Padre), Sound of Music (Rolf), Clue (Mr. Body), and Grand Horizons (Brian). More recent performances at O’Connell & Company include Grumpy Old Men (Harry), and Oklahoma! (Curly). He’d like the thank the cast and crew for such a fulfilling and hilariously unique experience, special thanks to Lauren and the kits for all of their unending love & support.

Jeremy Catania is thrilled to be involved in another Drunk Theatre Buffalo Production. Some previous credits include: Al in “I Fucked You in My Spaceship” (Buffalo United Artists,) Barry in “SIXTYNINESEVENTY” (Kyle LoConti: Buffalo State Alumni Center,) Favorite Son in “American Idiot” (Belissima Productions,) multiple roles in “Drunk Wizard of Oz” (Drunk Theatre Buffalo; Emily Glick LLC,) Pabloo in “Wicket”(Sheas Smith Theatre; O’Connell & Company,) Lola in “Mercury Fur” (The Subversive Theatre Collective,) Seth in “The Boys Upstairs,” (Buffalo United Artists,) Drew Tyndale in “A Time to Kill” (Desiderios Dinner Theatre,) as well as many others. Jeremy holds a BA in Theatre with a minor in Hospitality Administration from SUNY Buffalo State College (‘16.) He would like to thank his friends & family for their constant support.

Marty is thrilled to be taking part in another exciting show with Drunk Theatre Buffalo. Previous DTB credits: Drunk Wizard of Oz (Lion) and Drunk Peter Pan (Captain Hook/Mr. Darling), as well as "...But Make It Drunk", DTB's improv show. VerNia Sharisse Garvin

The Boozy Butler

VerNia Sharisse Garvin attended highschool at Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts where she fell in love with performance. In 2011, she studied at the NYSSSA: School of Theatre. Later, she went on to graduate cum laude with a Bachelor's of Arts in Theater. As a lover of improv, in 2018, she began her journey with ComedySportz Buffalo where she is currently a player on their Pro roster. When she's not acting, she's being a super cool Social Studies Teacher. Since returning to the stage VerNia has been apart of the 32nd and 33rd Buffalo Quickies cast at Alleyway Theater. She's held roles in various productions including The Royale at The Paul Robeson Theater this past September and 12 Mo' Angry Men with Ujima Theater Company.  VerNia is very grateful to be joining the cast of Drunk Murder Mystery and as always thanks her Mother for being her Number 1 fan! VerNia loves making people laugh because she loves to see people smile!

Joe Isgar is so excited to be working with DTB for the first time! Previous credits include Dragons Love Tacos (TOY), Deathtrap (LOH), and As You Like It (SDP). When he’s not acting (which is almost never), Joe is a music director and accompanist for West Seneca Schools, Lancaster Schools, SGT, O’Connell and Company, Musicalfare, TOY, and RLTP. Many thanks to his friends for encouraging him to audition, his first girlfriend for forcing him to like beer, and Goodbar for literally being outside his bedroom window.

Zachary Kushner

Zachary has long been known as a local Nonsense Person. He made his theater debut earlier this year in Rehearsal for Murder (Lloyd) and Airness (Facebender) with Lancaster Opera House. Zach has also been featured as a voice actor on Hapless Heroes Podcast and an improvisor in shows by Buffalo Improv House.

Kristen-Marie Lopez attended SUNY UB and received a BFA in Music Theatre. In Buffalo she has been seen in; Cabaret at 2nd Gen, Snowy Days & Anne of Green Gables at TOY, Nice Work If You Can Get It , Beehive, Disaster, 12th Night, & Legally Blonde at MusicalFare, and the Producers at LOH. He has enjoyed performing in various local productions, including Drunk Theater Buffalo's Wizard of Oz, The White Devil and Starring Buffalo's Sister Act. Pamela has performed throughout WNY for many years and has been honored with multiple Artie Awards for her endeavors. Recent productions: OKLAHOMA and GRUMPY OLD MEN with O’Connell & Company

(O’C&C), ANNE OF GREEN GABLES with Theatre of Youth, THE CONVENT with Brazen Faced Varlets, ROMEO AND JULIET with Shakespeare in Delaware Park (SDP). Past favorites: THE MAI with Irish Classical Theatre, CABARET with Second Generation Theatre (2nd Gen), 1776 (John Adams) with O’C&C and THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR (Falstaff) with SDP. Vinny Murphy is thrilled to be working for Drunk Theatre Buffalo again. Vinny was in “Holiday Classics… But Make It Drunk” with Drunk Theatre Buffalo. He has been seen in several O’Connell productions such as Oklahoma, La Cage Aux Folles, Chicago, Sunset Boulevard, The Rink, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Wicket: A Parody Musical, Damn Yankees and The Addams Family. He has also appeared in Starring Buffalo’s production of Evita starring Tony Award winner Lena Hall and the Lockport Palace production of 42nd Street. He thanks his family and friends for their continuous support!

Ashleigh Chrisena Ricci

The Self-Assured Sleuth

Ashleigh Chrisena Ricci is absolutely not drunk right now writing this bio. She was last seen onstage as Laurey in Oklahoma at O'Connell and Company. Other local credits include Reefer Madness (Ensemble), White Christmas (Betty) and Chicago (Mona). Off-Broadway credits include Honestly Abe: The Musical (Elizabeth) and Come Back Once More. She also has voiced numerous cartoon voices for Transformers:Rescue Bots Academy, Transformers Cyberverse and Mini Beat Power Rockers. She would like to thank her friends, family, and spouse for their constant love and support.

Julianna Tracey (Swing) is so excited to join the Drunk Theatre Buffalo family! Julianna holds a BFA in Music Theatre and a BA in History from SUNY University at Buffalo. Julianna’s past favorite credits include, The Folks at Home (Alice/Brittany, Alleyway Theatre), Violet (Violet, SUNY UB Music Theatre), Merrily We Roll Along (Mary Flynn, SUNY UB Music Theatre), White Christmas (Featured Ensemble, The Historic Lockport Palace Theatre), The Music Man (Alma Hix, The Historic Lockport Palace Theatre), and The Little Mermaid (Adella/Ensemble, The Historic Lockport Palace Theatre). Julianna’s two favorite drinks, depending on the vibe, are either Confetti! Sweet Pink Moscato (the kind you can get at Olive Garden- she is a classy lady), or a Dirty Shirley (yes, one time a bartender DID look Julianna in the eyes and told her to “grow up.” She will not do that.)
